5 Best Healthy Food Choices in daily life

Living healthy life depend on way of life style you live and especially healthy diet. Healthy Eating is something we all would like to maintain in our daily life but seems hard to maintain. In order to eat healthy food, make the right food choices first.  Living healthy life always depend on what you eat, and which choices you make at very crucial time.

1. Milk

Milk is one of best food for Living healthy life as it is enrich with high natural calcium in it.  3 cups is recommend for adults, and for kid’s age from 2 – 8years, 2 cups or more is advice.  Always choose milk which is fat-free or low-fat.  People, who don’t like milk or can’t have it, should go for lactose free products or other sources of calcium such as beverages and fortified foods.

2. Fruits

Fruits are also very important and essential for Living healthy life. One should try to eat at least 2 cups of chopped or whole fruits daily. Make practice of eating in variety of fruits, such as fresh, dried fruit or even canned and frozen fruits. You can drink fruit juices as well,

3. Vegetables

Vegetables are also important and should be eaten daily as it has all types of vitamins and minerals.  It should be varied; you should eat 2 1/2 cups of Vegetables each day.  Eat Dark vegetables such as broccoli, spinach etc.  Should be taken more, sweet potatoes and Carrots are good as well.  You should also eat more dry beans such as pinto beans, peas, and even kidney beans.

4. Grains

Grains should consume 150 grams per day.  You can eat rice, whole grain cereals, grain crackers, pasta or even breads.  You can get an ounce of grains in a single slice of bread, or 1 cup of cereal.

5. Meat and beans

One should eat 100 grams of Meat and beans a day as it contain good amount of protein in it. When eating meat, always grill it, bake it or boil it.  You can vary your protein by eating peas, beans, nuts and fish.While cooking your food, make shore you limit solid fats such as margarine and butter, these foods may add flavor to your dishes, but also raise your cholesterol which is harmful to you

By picking your foods wisely and watching what you eat, you can live better life.
